A company's health and safety plan template workplace should focus on how to create an environment in the workplace with the least possibility of danger, accident or catching an illness. The key is risk management and zero compromise with regard to health and safety hazard. The template for such plan must be limited to how the workplace would operate. It must include the floor plan of the place, the areas where risk is high and the plan to minimize such risk and the action to take in case of an adverse incident and contingency plans in the event that this action fails. Just like other plans, the template should include a section for the names of the persons in charge, the people who carries the responsibility and liability for negligence or recklessness, and the people sought to be protected by such plan.

And for humanitarian and practical reasons, businesses are encouraged and even charged by law to create and maintain a work environment that is safe and healthy. These two should be protected for humanitarian reasons because an employer has the moral obligation to keep his workers safe and healthy, and for practical reason because hospitalization and litigation are costly, not to mention its being bad for the business.
